Gaston County Schools has initiated its annual summer nutrition program, which grants students the opportunity to receive meals while school is out for summer break. The program ensures convenient access to meals at multiple bus stops and community locations throughout the county.
Moreover, students attending any of the Camp Gaston summer program sites can avail themselves of complimentary breakfast and lunch.
Commencing on Monday, June 5, meal distribution will occur at six non-school summer camp locations and eight bus/neighborhood sites across the county. These sites will serve meals from Monday to Thursday each week, with the exception of the week of Fourth of July (July 3-7).
