BUBBLE PAINTING
Items you will need:
• Bubble Solution
• Cups or bowls
• Straw
• Food Coloring
• Paper
How to:
- Make your own bubble solution. You can also use any pre-made bubble solution if you have some at home. (See Below)
- Put bubble solution and food coloring in cups or bowls and stir. If you want bright colors use more food coloring; if you'd rather have pastel colors use less food coloring.
- Insert straw into the cup/bowl and blow. Careful not to suck through the straw!
- Lay your sheet of paper over the top of the bubbles to create an imprint.
- Repeat with different colored bubbles until you fill your paper. You can mix food coloring to create more colors, or add different colored bubbles on top of one another on your paper to create more colors.
Make Your Own Bubble Solution!
"Discovery Center Bubbles"
One gallon of distilled water
2/3 cup of dish soap(We use Joy)
2 tablespoons of glycerin
Mix well.
Note: Always add soap and glycerin to the water. If you add water to the soap it will bubble out of the container.
The solution works best the next day.
